This Neo-Classical guitar lick is an ascending guitar lick that uses only four notes from the harmonic minor scale (C D# F# A) and works well over chord progressions using the E harmonic minor scale. This type of note skipping is used by Yngwie Malmsteen, Randy Rhoads and others. This guitar lick relies heavily on alternate picking.
