Harmonic Minor Guitar Lick in E

Written by Edward Cupler

Guitar Lesson - Neo-Classical

This Neo-Classical guitar lick using the e harmonic minor scale relies heavily on alternate picking. It is an ascending guitar lick that starts on an Eb and avoids using the G note (the 3rd) throughout the lick. It starts on the low E and A strings and repeats as an octave on the D and G strings then an octave on the B and high E strings. It climaxes with a slide up to an E flat that bends up to an E note.
