This Pentatonic minor blues scale guitar lick in the key of E makes heavy use of the flatted 5th note. The second measure uses a repeating lick combining alternate picking, hammer-ons and pull-offs. The third measure is a decending pattern common in rock which uses the flatted 5th (A#) and ignores the fourth note of the scale (A). This lick is influenced by Randy Rhoads and Jake E Lee.
