Guitar Lesson

A guitar lick in the key of A minor uses a hammer-on pull-off sequence for the 2nd and 3rd measures replacing the 4th note (D) with the a flatted 5th note (D#) to give it a more bluesy sound. After the first three measures it switches to a pentatonic minor blues scale (basically the B note is removed and the familiar D D# E notes are emphasized). This guitar lick is influenced by Warren D Martini and Randy Rhoads

Metal Method

Note: Try practicing each hammer-on pull-off position in measures 2 and 3 separately and then once you're comfortable, try puting them together. The first note of each position can either be picked or tapped. I used taps but I think it's easier to pick the first note of each position.
