Loudness - Lightning Strikes

One of my all time favorite imports. The first time I heard these guys, I had borrowed their live album "Live-Loud-Alive" from a friend. When asked what I thought I said that I really liked the music but couldn't understand a thing the singer said. My friend laughed and said that was because it was all in Japanese. I had no idea, guess I should have read the liner notes more closely. Let it Go is from the 1986 release "Lightning Strikes" from Japan's Heavy Metal Masters Loudness. Japan has improved on much over the years. Heavy Metal band Loudness proves that the Japanese are quite capable of improving on metal as well. Here they are live on Japanese TV with guitarist Akira Takasaki and original vocalist Minoru Niihara.
