The other 4 positions
The Pentatonic minor scale has five scale positions. The first position can be seen in the lesson “Pentatonic Minor Scale“. This lesson contains the remaining 4 positions of this scale.
The notes are still the same five from the previous lesson (A C D E and G), only the starting position changes and the order of the intervals. As always, once you’ve learned the patterns you should practice them with a metronome. Also, it’s a good idea to say the notes as you play through each scale pattern to become more familiar with the notes on the fretboard.
