My video on 8 tips for guitar that every guitar player should know was posted a few weeks ago, and I got a lot of interesting feedback and questions on it that I would like to address. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out the link below.

At the time of recording this video, I looked at these 8 tips as easy ideas that may take a player a while to learn, as they aren’t generally included in standard teaching practices. I really didn’t think how complex/deep these tips might be to some.

Definitely the tip that received the most concern was muting a guitar with a hair band, scrunchie… or sock. Admittedly, the sock is likely only going to be saved for if a player finds themselves in a REAL bind ;)

But you all had a lot to say about that tip that had me really thinking about it in a new way. While I was answering these questions, I was able to learn a lot myself. So I thank you for that! I really do enjoy having the chance to answer questions and interact with you. So if you have any further thoughts that you would like to share, don’t hold back!

Have a look at the following (short) video, and let me know if that answers your questions!

Hope you enjoyed these videos and were able to learn something along the way!
